My new Shoulder bag, it is made with the Japanese Kimono print on cotton. Very nice and sharp. Vintage look as well. Check it out at Flying.
A little gift I bought for myself :)

New fabrics added into my collection, they are 100% cotton from US, high quality and expensive :p

Plan to use them for dress, another project which I’m learning currently. I'm working on A-line skirt, hope I could finish it by this weekend.

Will share the photo.

Completed 1.5 yarns, there are 2.5 yarns to go. In fact the progress should be faster but I keep on redoing it. This is the 3rd trial. Why? As the first timer knit with 2 “sticks”, I made a lot of mistake, either mis-count or the knit is too tight or too loose. Not satisfy, redo, I even start to think on different design … but I know this is a challenge, it gives me a lesson on “Persistent” , I need finish this one before start to think on other and stay focus.

I read an article in Yoga Journal, knitting is a good meditation where you will pay full attention to the work and mind does not wonder around. Train your mind to be more focus and relax, get rid of all the worries and nonsense. I totally agreed.

It has been a while since my last update. I have slow down my pace a lot recently. It has came to December, the last month for the year. There are a lot to think, a lot to reflect and a lot to plan.
Still I manage to complete with these which I am very proud of ...

Yoga mat bag with very retro style fabic design. It is a very strong canvas. I found this fabric in early of this year (January I think). I like the color very much, it is bright and will cheer up your day, your yoga practice. Decided to called it "SunShine", would like to own one? check out at Flying

Vanilla is my first shoulder bag. It is made by a very nice and soft canvas. The inner lining is my another favorite Japanese cotton. Adorable.

Another Hobo bag but it is in Ivory this time, very bright and clean combination (Ivory + Apple Green), go green concept. I have added the handmade flower to match the inner lining fabric, it is a broach where you may remove it from the bag and put it on your dress.

Looking at all the beautiful and nice yarn at the shop, I can't stop myself and started with this new project. My second knitting project. The first one was done 20 years ago, an unfinish cardigan. Looking forward to see the result for this one.
These 2 handbags finally posted on Flying. After I finished my first knitted handbag, I can't stop and continue with these 2. They are cute and sweet ;p

My first baking class, a lot of fun. I would like to continue exploring the fondant decorating.
my 12 cup cakes at the end of the class
my most satisfied cup cake.

Decided to take the photo outdoor and the result is good. We should do it more often :)

Would like to share what I have got recently ... all are nice stuffs. Life is wonderful.

Nice and sweet crochet lace from an old shop in Bukit Mertajam

Cotton yarn with mixture of ivory, grey and sky blue

I started with this yarn back in June, completed the first tote in July (left in pic) but not satisfied with the design, have been thinking of redo it. Finally, I manage to come out with this new one (right in pic). I like this new design better. I use it on Monday and everyone loves it :)

I bought a big packet of buttons from Bangkok last year, I will make any design as when the idea come. I decided to called this tote bag "NiuNiu", Niu means button in Chinese. NiuNiu means many buttons..... As you could see, all my bags are not repeat, as I made each of them with great passion. Enjoy browsing through Flying :)
Wah, a very productive week? No no no... some of them completed before my vacation, I only have time to post them today. :p

More Hobo Bag. This one is a very light, close to the color of sand. Very special and sweet - Hobo-In-Sand. Find out more at Flying.
Not sure if you notice, brown can go very well with green. I know this is a "brave" combination but I love the combination very much :) . They are my favourate fabric. Her name is HoboInChoco, you may find it at Flying .

I continue with Hobo bag over the weekend, I like this bag very much, it is big enough to carry everything you need. It is reversible and comes with 2 different design. Another everyday bag. Would like to own one? Check out at Flying .

Let me introduce you my new design, her name is Charlotte. She is made with very soft vinyl and the inner is lining with Japanese cotton. Her size is perfect for an everyday bag, big enough to hold all the necessary things modern women carry such as books, cosmetic, cellphone, purse, keys name it. It is reversible. Would like to own it? Check out more at Flying .
I have noticed this shop, Rose Garden for quite some time ago. I finally pay a visit to Rose Garden yesterday. It does not dissapoint me, it has a lot of lovely and good stuff, vintage and Victorian style, I love everything in the store from the cabinet to the phone, the clock, the door bell, the quilt .... you name it. I bought 2 stuffs and left the shop happily, I make a note that I will go back again :)

Here are the 2 items I bought from Rose Garden.

The little quilt is just nice to cover my sewing machine :)

3 sisters, arent' they are sweet and cute? The size is just nice for your h/phone, keys and coins purse. Will upload them to Flying this week. Remember to check them out ya!
These are my new collection - Japanese cotton.
A lot huh!
I love them so much and I'm working hard to make them into bags.... stay tune!

I try to do different bag besides tote bag. Here is my first Hobo bag (red). If you notice, most of my bags are made with "safe" color and this time I tried with sharp one (red). They are reversible and big enough for diaper bag. Both of them were sold last week during the LPSM.

I love this green very much, in fact I love all the green :). It is a printed Japanese cotton. You can load it up with almost anything and run out the door looking great! check out more at Flying

I have came across this handicraft called Tatting almost 2 years ago. I love it very much, have been searching through the web for tatting resources. I couldn't find any tatting books in the bookstore where I live. During my last trip to US, I have been asking around also no luck. The key tool is the shuttle.

After a year of craving, last week I decided to DIY my own shuttle, and follow the instruction from the web. Here is my first tatting butterfly. Not perfect but it is almost there ;)

Let me introduce this .... "Button FloweR", it is made by vinyl and cotton, decorated by assorted buttons. The size is big enough to carry your magazines. You will love it. check it out at Flying

There is a new shop open at QBM, they sell very nice yarn. I can't stop myself and bought one cotton yarn. It is called "Breeze Cotton" in Lime. I decided to knit a pouch for myself. It is already half through and I plan to finish it over the weekend (hope I could find my crochet book, so that I could add different design).
I notice that everyone at Esty has a very nice banner for their shops. I also came across a few shops who will help you to design your banner. Since we are the DIY lover, I decided to create it myself and it took me quite a while to come out with my first banner. A lot of trial and errors. Here I share with you the last 2 successful banners I had created. of course the one I'm putting it up at the shop is the most satisfied version and I'll keep on designing more.

Finally, I manage to create the banner for my shop! That's what we called satisfaction! :)

Her name is "Sweety", very lovely tote bag which you can use day and night. It is made of cotton fabric and vinyl. I have listed it at my shop. Feel free to check it out.

Would like to introduce you MyVLB (Very Large Bag), everything can go in, my books, magazine, towel, clothes and my Yoga mat. It is the bag I bring to all my yoga class ;p

My new shoulder bag. I started to make it on the new year eve (12/31) and finished the work on the first day of the year (1/1). Initially I want to named it 0708 but look at the two little daisy I sew, I decided to call it "Daisy". You may find out more about "Daisy" at the shop
